Collectible Item

If I’m shopping on amazon.com, and an item says “collectible” rather than new or used, what does that mean?
Trying to buy an old video game from my childhood, and im not sure what collectible means… Does that mean in better condition than used, but worse condition than new?
“Collectible” doesn’t in itself mean that the item is new or used, but if I were buying online I would assume that a “collectible” item has been used.
“Collectible” is often a euphemism for “used,” a nice way of saying “used.” But sometimes people like to collect old things, and those things become collectible. Some people use that instead of “antique” when the item isn’t old enough.
I often buy books on amazon, especially ones that are out of print, and I avoid buying ones that are advertised as “collectible” because I think the seller jacks the price up if he/she thinks a “collector” will buy it. I look for “used, good condition.” I’ve never been disappointed.
