Magic Playing

Im going to be playing magic the gathering with a different color of mana every battle. Can I do this?

I just want to know if this is against the rules of Magic The Gathering.

There’s nothing wrong with switching decks after game of Magic if you’re just playing with friends. In a tournament, however, you’ll have to build one deck and stick with it for the entire event.

The only exception is a sealed format where you build a deck with a small number of cards you receive at the beginning of the tournament and are free to adjust between any match (so long as you only use the cards you were given).
